When an American franchise goes abroad, people often wonder how the international location differs from the original. Here are the three main differences that I’ve observed.

I think the biggest difference is that in South Korea, McDonald’s makes home deliveries via motorcycle. One of the many things Korea is famous for is that you can have almost anything delivered to you at any time.

The next difference is the menu. In addition to the classics like the Big Mac, nuggets, and fries, Korea offers their own unique items. This includes the 1955 Burger, the Shanghai Burger, and the Bulgogi Burger.

The final difference reveals how environmentally conscience South Korea is. Your order comes with one packet of ketchup and one packet of sweet & sour sauce. If you dine in, your drink is served in a clear plastic cup that is recycled.
